Slide mounted up high with a very strong spring break - it's tough to engage/disengage. This is the one feature that I hate on this gun. I doubt there's many guns that break down so quick and easily. Maintenance is a breeze with it's easy take down design. The sights are 3 dot and even though not night sights they work well but are not great in low light. The feeling of the actual trigger istelf feels crappy on the fingertip, no worse than any other plastic trigger I suppose, but I much prefer metal for this part as it's an important tactile interface with the weapon. The trigger pull in double action is HEAVY but smooth and the single action is nearly perfect for my tastes.

I suppose something is helping with this because it's actually a very nice shooting gun. This gun uses a rotating barrel which is supposed to help dissipate recoil. The darn thing shoots exactly where it's aimed, is a soft shooter, and follow ups are rapid. No matter what ammo I've put through it I've yet to have a single issue arise. That is a description Beretta uses to describe this gun and I'd have to agree. Reliable, Pleasant to Shoot and Easy to Maintain Here are some details from Beretta along with my thoughts. 45 in a reasonable length barrel that shoots nice and isn't too heavy. I overlooked the plastic frame and odd looks to get a decent capacity. This gun fills a sort of niche role, so even though it's a compromise, it suits me for what I wanted in a concealed carry weapon. I actually hate plastic framed guns yet I purchased one of these anyway.
